A few years ago, I worked under a CPA in CA for more than four years, primarily handling individual tax returns. I also assisted with partnership and S-corp returns by preparing the sections I was comfortable with before passing them on to the CPA for review and completion. This past tax season, I worked for a well-known tax preparation software company, handling highly complex individual returns, including self-employment and investment income. I am now looking to further my career in business tax.
