AI Planning & Advisory

About

Corvee helps tax and accounting professionals transition from compliance to advisory work. Its AI engine analyzes client financials to uncover tax-saving strategies, model scenarios, and generate personalized advisory plans. Firms use Corvee to standardize tax planning, increase advisory revenue, and present client deliverables faster with data-driven insights.

AI SummaryNegative

Tax professionals express significant concerns about Corvee, citing its high pricing (up to $15,000), perceived inaccuracies, and unprofessional sales tactics. Many prefer alternatives like Holistiplan or BNA for their reliability and cost-effectiveness. While some acknowledge Corvee's appealing presentations, they often label it as more of a marketing tool than a robust tax planning solution, with reports of glitches and misleading claims about its capabilities.

Solo practicing CPA here. Mostly focus on income tax prep. 80/20 split individual/PTE. I get asked about planning way too much and do way too little of it. I haven't looked into planning software for about 2 years at this point. The last demo I did was with Corvee, and they quoted me at $10,000 for federal-only and $15,000 for federal+state. What is everyone else using? Benefits/shortcomings? cost? TIA!

I did some searching in the sub and tax planning software has been discussed before but the most recent one was over 200 days ago and didn’t really answer the question I’m curious about. Do any of you use a tax planning software similar to Corvee or Holisitplan where it’s more of an automated planning software? My understanding of these software programs is that you upload the information and it helps point out tax planning opportunities in addition to being able to run manual scenarios like a

Hey all! I'm doing my DD on increasing my tax planning services after 10/15. The last hurdle is to determine if I want a standalone planning software, or just use Drake Planner. I'm a sole practitioner, most of the planning will revolve around PTE: QBI, S elections, quarterlies, retirement contributions, etc. I also have a ton of clients involved in real estate, so that will come into play at some point. Corvee seems pretty expensive but that's not necessarily a no-go for me. What else are pe

BNA Income Tax Planner is a dinosaur but it works. Corvee seems like a scam. Was not impressed at all when talking to their sales people. Very unprofessional and outrageously priced.

If you're looking for flashy, corvee. If you're looking for accurate, BNA.

My firm has been using Holistiplan for 4-5 years now to produce client deliverables for some of our clients. We generally proforma a return in Drake, then copy it into Holistiplan since Holistiplan can't really tell you if there's a calculation error for some things like QBI. Our Holistiplan is up for renewal, and it's going from $449 to $749. We barely use it now - it's only for the clients that need a clear deliverable rather than just us telling them what we recommend. Is there a better al

Do not trust corvee. They’re sleezy scum bags. They lied to me and said the software could do this and that and was so great and after they got my deposit it was revealed to me that the program was in beta stage and was full of glitches. Also they market their program to unqualified people (bookkeepers and tax preparers who have no tax planning knowledge or experience) and rope them in with the promise that they can spend 10 min in corvee and have a deliverable they can sell to the client for 9k

I use Tax Planner Pro. https://www.taxplannerpro.com/accountants $1300 a year, or $4000 for lifetime access. Way better than Corvee's $10k+ per year bullshit.
