I started a trial and it has a ton of info, more than I'll ever need, but there are also some powerful tools that aggregate data. The coronavirus has brought to light how many different resources I currently use to look up or validate information. Does anyone else find Bloomberg Tax useful on a day to day basis? Any idea how much it costs?

What websites do you use to get your tax news? Are subscriptions to Bloomberg Tax or Taxnotes overkill for the small business practitioner? Bloomberg Tax cheapest subscription is \~$1,500 however they go up to $30k (from what the rep told me) Taxnotes cheapest is tax practice expert at $500 however their tax notes today is $2,500 CCH AnswerConnect is another however I couldn't find pricing Has anyone personally used these tax subscriptions? Can you search tax materials like CCH Intel

Bloomberg Tax is my favorite tax research platform, the portfolios are great and it has so many added resources from checklists to email and election statement templates. My firm just switched back to checkpoint and I miss Bloomberg every day.

My last firm subscribed to CCH Intelliconnect which was my favorite resource for state tax research & especially creating smart charts. I think it is now called CCH Cheetah. My current firm subscribes to Bloomberg Tax which is inferior IMO for state research. I'm considering enrolling in a cheap online college course just to gain access to CCH via the library's subscription. Has anyone tried this strategy & can you suggest where to enroll. TYIA!

The V-bucks saga for the statement 1 question took a turn yesterday when the Chief Counsel refused to say you didn't have to say "yes" to the question if you had game based currency, but still the old website was misleading--and then it was clear he figured he had said too much. I am a senior accounting student and want to write some accounting-related articles to practice my writing skills and also maybe find a community where people have same interests in discussing accounting/tax related topics. The articles are not so deep as I don't have so many experience and are based on researching professional resources.
